North Wilts Ladies win the EIBA Yetton Plate

Congratulations to North Wilts Ladies on their fantastic achievement winning the Yetton Plate at the EIBA National Finals on Saturday March 29th.

The journey to Nottingham has been challenging with our ladies losing in the first round of the Yetton Trophy to Clarrie Dunbar. As a first-round loser, our ladies managed to re-group and compete in the Yetton Plate, where they gained a walk-over from St Andrews, and wins against Camberley & District, Kempston Park and Torbay, respectively.

The win over Torbay (92 shots to 58), played on a neutral green at Dorchester, saw our ladies heading to Nottingham for the Final against Avon Valley. In a thrilling match, North Wilts overcame Avon Valley to win 69 shots to 81.

A fantastic team-effort! Well done, ladies!
